Summary

To extend the term of validity for a professional educator certificate from five years to ten years, to authorize the reissuance of an initial and provisional educator certificate under the preparation and eligibility requirements in effect at the time the certificate was originally issued in certain circumstances, to delay the deadline for the development of the model curriculum by one year and to require a progress report on its development, and to authorize the Commissioner of Education to temporarily waive or modify state feeding program requirements in response to any changes in federal law.
