AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF HARKNESS MEMORIAL STATE PARK.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That public act 17-2 of the June special session be amended to prohibit funds received from marriage ceremonies performed at Harkness Memorial State Park from being diverted to the General Fund, and that such funds be made available for maintenance of the park.

Statement of Purpose:

To make funds received from marriage ceremonies performed at Harkness Memorial State Park available for maintenance of the park instead of diverting them to the General Fund.
