AN ACT CONCERNING REIMBURSEMENT FOR UPDATING HVAC SYSTEMS IN SCHOOLS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-283 of the general statutes be amended to make the cost of replacing or repairing heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems in schools eligible for purposes of calculating eligible costs for school building project grants.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage and assist municipalities to update school facilities with energy efficient HVAC systems.
