AN ACT CONCERNING THE FILING OF FRIVOLOUS LAWSUITS BY INMATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 901 of the general statutes be amended to require a person who files a civil action while committed to the custody of the Commissioner of Correction to reimburse the defendant for court costs if the civil action is determined to be frivolous.
Statement of Purpose:
