AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE FINANCE AND BANKING DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND THE CONNECTICUT FINANCE CENTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish (1) the Finance and Banking Development Commission which shall be charged with recruiting new finance and banking business to this state and with drafting a long-term strategic plan for growth in these industries, and (2) the Connecticut Finance Center, in cooperation with The University of Connecticut, to support the finance and banking industries in this state.
Statement of Purpose:
To create new jobs in Connecticut's finance and banking industries.
