AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR TRANSMISSION OF AN UNSOLICITED FACSIMILE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 52-570c of the general statutes be amended to provide that the penalty for an initial violation involving the transmission of a facsimile containing unsolicited advertising materials shall be a warning with a five-hundred-dollar penalty for each subsequent violation.
Statement of Purpose:
To change the penalty for the transmission of a facsimile containing unsolicited advertising materials.
