AN ACT REQUIRING ELECTRONIC TIME AND ATTENDANCE RECORDS FOR STATE EMPLOYEES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Information Technology, in conjunction with the Comptroller, the Commissioner of Administrative Services and the executive director of the Joint Committee on Legislative Management, to create a centralized electronic process for recording and transmitting all state employee time and attendance records.

Statement of Purpose:

To streamline state government and eliminate the use of paper time records.
