AN ACT IMPLEMENTING COMPREHENSIVE LYME DISEASE SCREENING IN THE STATE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the state's health care institutions and providers to adopt Lyme disease screening tests and procedures similar to those currently in effect in the state of New York.

Statement of Purpose:

To improve current Lyme disease screening by offering more comprehensive Lyme disease testing in the state.
