AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-130 of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalty for criminal impersonation from a class A misdemeanor to a class D felony when the victim is at least sixty years of age.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the penalty for criminal impersonation from a class A misdemeanor to a class D felony when the victim is at least sixty years of age.
