AN ACT PROVIDING POLICE DEPARTMENTS WITH INFORMATION CONCERNING ANY PERSON WHO PURCHASES AN ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require retail sellers of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to provide police departments with the name and address of an ATV purchaser and the address at which such ATV will be garaged.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist police departments with enforcement of restrictions on the use of ATVs on private and public property.
