AN ACT CONCERNING THE SUSPENSION OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSE OF PERSONS WHO COMMIT MULTIPLE MOTOR VEHICLE MOVING VIOLATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 14-111g of the general statutes be amended to provide that the operator's license of any person required to attend an operator retraining program shall contain such information until the completion of three years during which such person has not been convicted of any violations contained in subsection (a) of said section 14-111g, and that any such convictions during such three-year period shall result in license suspension.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide a mechanism for the suspension of operator licenses of individuals who commit motor vehicle violations after completing an operator retraining program, and to establish a maximum number of moving motor vehicle violations before a license is suspended.
