AN ACT CONCERNING VOTING BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS AND AGREEMENTS AND STIPULATIONS IN CONNECTION WITH A LAWSUIT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That sections 5-278 and 3-125a of the general statutes be amended to require each chamber of the General Assembly to vote to approve or reject all collective bargaining agreements with state employee organizations and all agreements and stipulated agreements in connection with a lawsuit.

Statement of Purpose:

To require the General Assembly to vote on all collective bargaining agreements and agreements and stipulated agreements in connection with a lawsuit.
