AN ACT PROHIBITING RECEIPT OF STATE RETIREMENT INCOME DURING TIMES OF REEMPLOYMENT WITH THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 5-164a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any person who has retired from the service of the state to receive a retirement income during any time such person reenters state service, whether through reemployment, election or appointment.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the receipt of pension and salary payments from the state at the same time.
