AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEFINITION OF SMALL BUSINESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subdivision (18) of section 31-51ww of the general statutes be amended to clarify the definition of "small business" as a business with one hundred fifty or less employees, and that such definition applies to all programs designed for small businesses.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow all businesses with one hundred fifty employees or less to be considered a "small business".
