RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. Mark Wilson; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Mark Wilson has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the
vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to
the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Wilson has diligently and conscientiously devoted his time, talents, and
energy to providing quality customer contact services as founder, president, and
CEO of Ryla, Inc; and
WHEREAS,
founded in 2001, Ryla is a leading call center solutions provider with proven
expertise in customer contact provider solutions and business process
outsourcing; and
WHEREAS,
over the last decade, this outstanding corporate citizen has grown into a
nationally recognized domestic customer support and contact center with
state-of-the-art technology, a diverse client portfolio, and over 1,500
employees; and
WHEREAS,
prior to founding Ryla, Mr. Wilson worked for 15 years with Dun &
Bradstreet, the leading provider of global business information, where he worked
his way through the ranks to the position of assistant vice president;
and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Wilson earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and management
from Wilberforce University and is a member of the Centers of Excellence of the
National Minority Supplier Development Council, the Georgia Minority Supplier
Development Council, the Young Presidents' Organization, and Kappa Alpha Psi
Fraternity; and
WHEREAS,
a native of Arkansas, Mr. Wilson's business partner is his loving and supportive
wife, Shelly Wilson, and the two have worked tirelessly to create an upbeat,
cheerful, and professional atmosphere where their employees thrive and deliver;
and
WHEREAS,
Ryla and Mr. Wilson have been recognized with numerous honors and accolades,
including Mr. Wilson's selection as 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year Southeast
Regional Finalist from Ernst & Young and Ryla being named one of the fastest
growing private companies for three consecutive years by
Inc.;
and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the extraordinary accomplishments of
this distinguished gentleman be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body recognize Mr. Mark Wilson for his foresight, vision, and
accomplishments.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Mark
Wilson.
