RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. Chandler Massey; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Chandler Massey is the son of Lewis and Amy Massey and grandson of Abit and
Kayanne Massey and Tom and Mary Reichard; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Massey graduated from Norcross High School in 2009 in the top five percent
of his class, where he played the lead in several plays and earned a perfect
score on the math portion of the Scholastic Aptitude Test; and
WHEREAS,
this Eagle Scout currently attends the University of California, Los Angeles
where he maintains an impressive 4.0 grade point average and is a member of the
ultimate frisbee team; and
WHEREAS,
a talented actor, Mr. Massey has appeared in popular television shows
One Tree
Hill,
East Bound and
Down, and
Army
Wives; and
WHEREAS,
in December, 2009, Mr. Massey was selected to play the main character role of
Will Horton on NBC's
Days of Our
Lives; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the future of this
bright and promising young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Mr. Chandler Massey for his many outstanding accomplishments
and extend to him best wishes for continued success in the future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Chandler
Massey.
