RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending South Gwinnett High School's Miss South 2010 Caitlin Zumbro; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Caitlin Zumbro has shown by the example of her academic accomplishments and
extracurricular involvement that the pursuit and attainment of excellence are
within the reach of the students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
Caitlin recently earned the prestigious title of Miss South 2010 at South
Gwinnett High School; and
WHEREAS,
a senior at South Gwinnett High School, Caitlin is the daughter of Susanna and
Artie Zumbro; and
WHEREAS,
a varsity cheerleader and scholar athlete, Caitlin plans to attend Auburn
University to study to become a nurse anesthetist; and
WHEREAS,
Caitlin is a member of the South Gwinnett chapter of the Future Business Leaders
of America, the National Beta Club, the Ladies of the South, and Snellville
United Methodist Church; and
WHEREAS,
this amazing student enjoys reading, watching SEC football, horseback riding,
and traveling; and
WHEREAS,
by her many achievements and confidence, Caitlin has brought credit to her
parents, her community, her school, and this state; and
WHEREAS,
all Georgians are proud of young women who, like Caitlin, represent the very
best that this state has to offer; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks forward with great anticipation to the promising and
bright future of this remarkable young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Caitlin Zumbro on being named Miss South 2010 and extend
to her best wishes for her near and distant future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Miss South
2010 Caitlin Zumbro.
