RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending MacKenzie Dalrymple, a great high school basketball player; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
MacKenzie Dalrymple proved to be an essential part of the Redan High School Lady
Raider basketball team and their spectacular 2008-2009 season that culminated in
a State Class AAAAA Championship victory; and
WHEREAS,
thanks to the outstanding abilities of players like MacKenzie Dalrymple, the
Redan High School Lady Raiders dominated and defeated teams throughout Georgia;
and
WHEREAS,
the Redan High School Lady Raider basketball team, composed of amazingly
talented athletes, has proven itself to be one of the greatest basketball
programs in Georgia High School Association history; and
WHEREAS,
the hard work, determination, and competitive spirit of the exceptional Raider
girls basketball team helped the players to realize a dream not only for
themselves but for their school, and their great achievements will influence
their personal growth and offer them memories they will cherish for a lifetime;
and
WHEREAS,
MacKenzie Dalrymple, an exceptional young athlete, has demonstrated remarkable
ability, motivation, resilience, and teamwork and has rightfully earned the
reputation as one of the best high school basketball players in the state;
and
WHEREAS,
this amazing young lady has benefited greatly from the expert training,
dedication, and encouragement provided by the instruction of Head Coach Rhonda
Malone and Assistant Coaches Jerry Jackson, David Ross, and Kysah
UpChurch-Binion as well as the tremendous support of the team managers, the
principal and faculty of Redan High School, the team's many dedicated fans, and
her loving family members; and
WHEREAS,
this outstanding athlete has brought great honor and credit to her family,
coaches, community, and Georgia and stands as a positive role model for other
young people for setting goals and working hard to achieve greatness; it is only
fitting that this body should recognize the extraordinary talent and
contributions of this wonderful athlete.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that this body
commends MacKenzie Dalrymple on her phenomenal performance as a member of the
Redan High School Lady Raiders basketball team and wishes her success in all of
her future endeavors.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to MacKenzie
Dalrymple.
