A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend Chapter 16 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Georgia Higher Education Facilities Authority, so as to increase the amount of bonding authority; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.

Chapter 16 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Georgia Higher Education Facilities Authority, is amended by revising subsection (f) of Code Section 20-16-5, relating to revenue bonds of the authority, as follows:

"(f) The authority shall not have outstanding at any one time bonds and notes exceeding $300 $500 million."

SECTION 2.

This Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its becoming law without such approval.

SECTION 3.

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
