RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Reverend Tommy Orok on the occasion of his pastoral anniversary;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Reverend Tommy Orok has demonstrated his commitment to teaching the Gospel,
witnessing Christ through word and deed, and addressing the physical,
psychological, intellectual, and spiritual needs of others; and
WHEREAS,
Reverend Orok entered the United States in 1985 and studied construction and
architecture at Southern Polytechnic State University; and
WHEREAS,
Reverend Orok was called by the Lord nine years ago to serve in the Kingdom of
God and was ordained a minister on September 6, 2010; and
WHEREAS,
he launched Kingdom Builders International Ministries on April 23, 2010, and is
committed to giving back to the community; and
WHEREAS,
his vision and direction have uplifted the surrounding area like the light of
Bethlehem; and
WHEREAS,
Reverend Orok has established numerous programs, including a back to school
supplies donation and a food pantry; and
WHEREAS,
the unmatched spiritual assistance offered by Reverend Orok is a source of
strength and direction for persons in all walks of life and from all economic
strata; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that this enduring example of God's message
of peace and love be recognized and congratulated for his innumerable good works
rendered on behalf of persons in need.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate Reverend Tommy Orok on the wonderful occasion of his pastoral
anniversary and extend best wishes for many more years of successful fellowship
and leadership.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Reverend Tommy Orok.
