RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Marx Reid Gaines; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
months of preparation, anticipation, and excitement came to fruition on March
16, 2006, when Marx Reid Gaines entered the world; and
WHEREAS,
since his arrival, Marx has delighted and awed all who meet him with his playful
and charming demeanor; and
WHEREAS,
Marx's proud parents are Reid and Dee Gaines, who marvel each day at his
developing personality and the new skills he acquires; and
WHEREAS,
Marx enjoys playing with friends and family, especially his Mimi, Miriam
Bulloch, and his Papa, the distinguished gentleman from the 11th District,
Honorable John Bulloch; and
WHEREAS,
spending quality time with his Gigi and Pappy, Claire and Marx Gaines, brings
Marx great jubilance and happiness; and
WHEREAS,
Marx brings light and joy to his family, who treasure him dearly and wish the
very best for him on his birthday and for each day to come; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation to the many achievements and
accomplishments sure to be achieved by this amazing young boy.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize
the very happy occasion of Marx Reid Gaines's third birthday and extend to him
their most sincere best wishes for a long and healthy life and great happiness
and success.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. and Mrs. Reid Gaines.
