A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to agriculture.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. (a) The state auditor shall conduct a comprehensive performance and management audit of the ten agricultural parks operated by the agricultural resource management division of the department of agriculture.
(b) The state auditor shall submit a report of
its findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to the
legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular
session of 2024.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2023.
