HOUSE RESOLUTION

 

 

RELATING TO COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TWENTY-EIGHTH LEGISLATURE.

 

 

 


BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-eighth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2015, that ROMY M. CACHOLA shall no longer be the Chair of the Veterans, Military, & International Affairs, & Culture and the Arts Committee and a member of the Consumer Protection & Commerce Committee and the Judiciary Committee; but shall be a member of the Finance Committee, and shall remain as a member of the Agriculture Committee, the Economic Development & Business Committee, the Tourism Committee, and the Veterans, Military, & International Affairs, & Culture and the Arts Committee; and

 

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that KEN ITO shall be the Chair of the Veterans, Military, & International Affairs, & Culture and the Arts Committee; shall no longer be the Vice Chair of the Veterans, Military, & International Affairs, & Culture and the Arts Committee; but shall remain as a member of the Education Committee, the Higher Education Committee, the Agriculture Committee, the Economic Development & Business Committee, and the Tourism Committee; and

 

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that JAMES KUNANE TOKIOKA shall be the Vice Chair of the Veterans, Military, & International Affairs, & Culture and the Arts Committee, and shall remain as a member of the Finance Committee, the Agriculture Committee, the Economic Development & Business Committee, and the Tourism Committee; and

 

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that MELE CARROLL, having resigned as a member of the House of Representatives as of February 1, 2015, is no longer a member of the Housing Committee, the Human Services Committee, and the Health Committee; and

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended by this Resolution, all appointments and committee memberships of the House of Representatives as set forth in H.R. No. 4 adopted by the House of Representatives of the Twenty-eighth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2015, shall remain in full force and effect, it being understood that the name of MELE CARROLL, wherever the name appears in H.R. No. 4, is deleted.
