1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2176

2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2176, AS AMENDED, | ||||||
3 | with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. | ||||||
4 | 1 as follows:

5 | on page 1, line 5, after " public ", by inserting " who is subject | ||||||
6 | to Section (a) and "; and
| ||||||
7 | on page 1, line 13, before " This ", by inserting: | ||||||
8 | " This acknowledgment shall be signed by the recipient of | ||||||
9 | notary services before notary services are rendered, and the | ||||||
10 | notary shall retain copies of all signed acknowledgments | ||||||
11 | throughout their present commission and for 2 years thereafter. | ||||||
12 | Notaries shall provide recipients of notary services with a | ||||||
13 | copy of their signed acknowledgment at the time services are | ||||||
14 | rendered. ".
