Summary

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Requires an individual or group policy of accident and health insurance to cover one annual office visit for a whole body skin examination for lesions suspicious for skin cancer. Requires that the appropriate procedural and diagnosis codes be used and that certain cost-sharing requirements shall not be imposed on the patient for coverage. Effective January 1, 2020.
