Summary

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that an automated traffic law system may not be used to issue violations to persons driving a motor vehicle who enter an intersection against a red signal indication in violation of a provision of the Illinois Vehicle Code or similar local ordinance providing that vehicular traffic facing any steady red signal may cautiously enter the intersection to turn right, or to turn left from a one-way street into a one-way street, after stopping as required by the Code. Effective January 1, 2011.
