Bill Title: Amends the General Provisions Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that a Tier 2 participant under the Cook County Article who is a deputy sheriff and a member of the Cook County Police Department is entitled to a retirement annuity upon written application if he or she has attained age 55, has at least 20 years of service credit for service in the position of deputy sheriff, and is otherwise eligible under the Cook County Article. Provides that the retirement annuity granted to such a participant shall be subject to annual increases on the January 1 following the first anniversary of the retirement annuity start date. Makes technical and combining changes to conform the changes made by Public Acts 102-719, 102-813, and 102-956. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately.
