Bill Title: Amends the Election Code. Changes the signature requirement for a petition for nomination for the office of State Senator to at least 500 but not more than 2,500 qualified primary electors of the candidate's party in his or her legislative district (rather than at least 1,000 but not more than 3,000). Changes the signature requirement for a petition for nomination for the office of Representative in the General Assembly to at least 250 but not more than 1,000 qualified primary electors of the candidate's party in his or her representative district (rather than at least 500 but not more than 1,500).
