1 AN ACT concerning abortion.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Reproductive Health Act is amended by
5adding Section 1-21 as follows:
6 (775 ILCS 55/1-21 new)
7 Sec. 1-21. Mobile abortion services prohibited.
8 (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person
9shall open, conduct, or maintain a facility in which mobile
10abortion services are performed, including services to
11terminate a pregnancy or to manage pregnancy loss, regardless
12of whether the abortion services are medical or surgical in
13nature.
14 (b) As used in this Section, "mobile abortion services"
15means any abortion-related services provided in a moveable
16vehicle or nonpermanent clinic.
