Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that a physician or other health care professional who provides services through a hospital that is a member of a preferred provider organization to an insured person who is admitted to the hospital and participates in the preferred provider organization may not use any fee schedule other than that set forth by the insurer for the preferred provider organization.

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. 1 AN ACT concerning insurance.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding
5 Section 370u as follows:

7 Sec. 370u. Preferred provider organization hospital. A
8 physician or other health care professional who provides
9 services through a hospital that is a member of a preferred
