Bill Title: Urges the Governor to suspend all out-of-state travel for the remainder of fiscal year 2009, to meet with the Department of Central Management Services, Department of Revenue, and the Auditor General to determine what other expenses could be reduced for the remainder of fiscal year 2009, and to consult with the Illinois Department of Transportation's Division of Aeronautics to further limit the use of executive aircraft and/or explore the sale of said aircraft.

HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The State of Illinois is facing the largest budget
3 shortfall in its history; and
4 WHEREAS, The previous gubernatorial administration had
5 substantial travel expenses both in and out-of-state;
6 therefore, be it
7 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
9 urge the Governor to suspend all out-of-state travel for the
10 remainder of fiscal year 2009; and be it further
11 RESOLVED, That we urge the Governor to meet with agency
12 directors to assess how much in-state travel could be reduced
13 for the remainder of fiscal year 2009; and be it further
14 RESOLVED, That we urge the Governor to meet with the
15 Department of Central Management Services, Department of
16 Revenue, and the Auditor General to determine what other
17 expenses could be reduced for the remainder of fiscal year
18 2009; and be it further
19 RESOLVED, That we urge the Governor to consult with the
20 Illinois Department of Transportation's Division of
