HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Warren S.
4Hadad of Antioch, who passed away on January 7, 2012; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born February 10, 1922 in Chicago, the son
6of the late Benjamin Samuel and Edith Violet (Johnson) Hadad;
7he grew up in Lake Villa, later lived in Waukegan, and settled
8in Antioch in 1985; and
9 WHEREAS, He proudly served in the United States Navy during
10World War II; on March 1, 1952 he married Shirley Schultz in
11Waukegan; and
12 WHEREAS, He was a member of St. Raphael the Archangel
13Church, Antioch and cherished spending time with his family; he
14worked from 1946 to 1986 as a plumber, and then joined his
15sons, working for Hadad Custom Homes, retiring in 1997; and
16 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley
17Hadad; his parents; and his sister, Virginia Banks; and
18 WHEREAS, Warren Hadad is survived by his children, Gary
19(Diane), Jerry (Teresa), LuAnn (Gerald) Miller, and Leslie
20Wenzel; his 11 grandchildren; his 11 great-grandchildren; and

1his siblings, Ben (Margaret) Hadad, Lyla (Tony) Palmieri, and
2June Pierce; therefore, be it
3 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
4NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
5we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
6Warren Hadad; and be it further
7 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Warren Hadad as a symbol of our
9sincere sympathy.
