SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Carolyn Bernice Alexander of Jerseyville,
who passed away on February 5, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander was born on December 12, 1951,
in Carrollton to George F. and Bernice E. (Price) Alexander;
and
WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander retired after working 36 years
at Jerseyville Nursing and Rehab as a certified nursing
assistant; and
WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander was a member of First Assembly
of God Church in Jerseyville; and
WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander was preceded in death by her
parents, and her brothers, Jim, Gary, and Ronnie Alexander; and
WHEREAS, Carolyn Alexander is survived by her brothers,
Floyd E. (Diane) Alexander and Larry J. (Julie) Alexander; her
nieces, Kayla (Dave) McGuire, Kim (Ron) Stufflebean, Katie
Alexander (Lincoln Holmes), Beth (Andy) Denton, Karen
Alexander (Chad Malloy), Kristie (Brad) Ross, Alyssa
Alexander, and Kari Jo Alexander; and many great-nieces and

great-nephews; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Carolyn Alexander, and we extend our sincere condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Carolyn Alexander as an expression
of our deepest sympathy.
