| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Nancy Hogan of Girard, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on March 27, 2023; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Nancy Hogan was born to Alfred and Adelta | ||||||
| 6 | (Turner) Stauffer in Springfield on March 4, 1947; she married | ||||||
| 7 | Gary Hogan on February 22, 1985; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Nancy Hogan was the cook of the family; she loved | ||||||
| 9 | spending time at home with her grandchildren; she also enjoyed | ||||||
| 10 | camping and shopping; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Nancy Hogan will be remembered for her generous | ||||||
| 12 | spirit and always putting the needs of others before herself; | ||||||
| 13 | and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Nancy Hogan was preceded in death by her parents | ||||||
| 15 | and her grandson, Anthony Evans; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Nancy Hogan is survived by her husband; her | ||||||
| 17 | daughters, Lori (Brian) Dodd and Angie Evans; her | ||||||
| 18 | grandchildren, Sarah (Bryan) Hopkins, Jason King, and Jessica | ||||||
| 19 | (Daniel) Moreth; her 11 great-grandchildren; her brother, Gary | ||||||
| 20 | (Barb) Stauffer; and her numerous nieces and nephews; | ||||||

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | Nancy Hogan and extend our sincere condolences to her family, | ||||||
| 5 | friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 7 | presented to the family of Nancy Hogan as an expression of our | ||||||
| 8 | deepest sympathy.
