| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Terry James Dixon of Coal Valley, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 23, 2024; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Terry Dixon was born in Dixon on March 31, 1953; | ||||||
| 6 | he served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam; he married Denh Nguyen | ||||||
| 7 | in Rock Island on November 4, 1972; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Terry Dixon was employed at John Deere, where he | ||||||
| 9 | worked in production and as a forklift driver; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Terry Dixon was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
| 11 | and his siblings, Joseph Dixon and Shirley Denning; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Terry Dixon is survived by his wife of 51 years, | ||||||
| 13 | Denh; his sons, Jamie (Jennifer) Dixon and Glen (Connie) | ||||||
| 14 | Dixon; his grandchildren, Delaney Dixon, Alyssa Dixon, and | ||||||
| 15 | Cameren Dixon; and his siblings, Mary (Frank) Gale, Linda | ||||||
| 16 | Hammond, Jacob Madison, and Timothy Dixon; therefore, be it

| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | ||||||
| 18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
