| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Sandra Lee Brady, who passed away on July | ||||||
| 4 | 18, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Sandra Brady was born on May 8, 1941; her parents | ||||||
| 6 | were Harold and Mary Loretto (nee O'Donoghue) Miller; she | ||||||
| 7 | married John Brady on February 11, 1961, at St. Thomas the | ||||||
| 8 | Apostle; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Sandra Brady was raised in Crystal Lake; she was | ||||||
| 10 | baptized at St. Thomas the Apostle, where she later received | ||||||
| 11 | her First Communion and was confirmed; she graduated from | ||||||
| 12 | Crystal Lake Community High School in 1959; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Sandra Brady worked at Crystal Lake South High | ||||||
| 14 | School in the English Department Resource Center for many years | ||||||
| 15 | until her retirement in 2006; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Sandra Brady was a gifted seamstress, a talented | ||||||
| 17 | Bridge player, and a devoted grandma to her grandchildren; she | ||||||
| 18 | loved traveling in Europe and the Caribbean, riding her | ||||||
| 19 | snowmobile in Northern Wisconsin near the family cabin, and | ||||||
| 20 | visiting 49 states; and

| 1 | WHEREAS, Sandra Brady is preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
| 2 | her former husband, John Brady; and a sister, Rita Fitzgerald; | ||||||
| 3 | and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, Sandra Brady is survived by 4 daughters, Ann | ||||||
| 5 | (Andre Bowdry) Brady, Ellen (Joseph Selby) Brady, Mary (Thomas) | ||||||
| 6 | Edwards, and Seanine (Robert Reisenbuechler) Brady; her | ||||||
| 7 | grandchildren, Brigitte (fiance, Jonathan Kratenstein) | ||||||
| 8 | Mueller, Nicole Edwards, Erich Mueller, Kevin Edwards, | ||||||
| 9 | Benjamin Brady, Maggie Mueller, Quinn Brady, and Charles | ||||||
| 10 | Edwards; 2 sisters, Lorraine Egan and Shirley Oost; and many | ||||||
| 11 | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 13 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
| 14 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Sandra Lee Brady; and | ||||||
| 15 | be it further

| 16 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 17 | presented to the family of Sandra Brady as an expression of our | ||||||
| 18 | sympathy.
