| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Fredrick L. Mammen of Springfield, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on July 30, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen was born in Ogle County to Lukie | ||||||
6 | and Verdena (Terivili) Mammen on May 16, 1933; he married Rita | ||||||
7 | A. Rodems on May 4, 1972; he served in the U.S. Army during the | ||||||
8 | Korean War; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen worked as an engineer at AT&T, | ||||||
10 | formerly known as Illinois Bell, until his retirement; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen was preceded in death by his | ||||||
12 | parents and his brother, Elmer; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen is survived by his wife; his | ||||||
14 | daughter, Kathy; his sons, Steve and Alan; his stepson, Pete; | ||||||
15 | and his several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, | ||||||
16 | and nephews; therefore, be it

17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
19 | Fredrick L. Mammen and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
20 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
