2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Douglas "Doug" R. Peden of Bloomington, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on September 6, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Doug Peden was born to Ray and Catherine Claggett | ||||||
6 | Peden in Bloomington on January 11, 1947; he graduated from | ||||||
7 | Bloomington High School and served in the U.S. Army; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Doug Peden worked as a truck driver for Conway | ||||||
9 | Trucking for 23 years; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Doug Peden loved to hunt and ride his Harley; he | ||||||
11 | enjoyed spending time with his family and being a part of his | ||||||
12 | grandchildren's lives; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Doug Peden is survived by his mother; his five | ||||||
14 | children, Douglas Peden, Heather (John) Needles, Jeremy | ||||||
15 | (Ashley) Peden, Adam (Amy) Peden, and Christopher Peden; his | ||||||
16 | brother, George Peden; his sister, Mary Carson; his 12 | ||||||
17 | grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; and his two | ||||||
18 | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
