| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Trystin Kavan Higginbotham of Riverton, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on September 10, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Trystin Higginbotham was born to Andrew | ||||||
6 | Higginbotham and Chasti D. Burnett-Higginbotham on April 15, | ||||||
7 | 2005; he attended Sherman Elementary School and Williamsville | ||||||
8 | Junior High School; most recently, he was a sophomore at | ||||||
9 | Williamsville High School; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Trystin Higginbotham enjoyed going to school and | ||||||
11 | planned a future in forensic science; he loved the beauty of | ||||||
12 | the winter months and a variety of activities with his friends | ||||||
13 | and family, which included fishing, camping, | ||||||
14 | strength-training, running, hiking, horseback riding, | ||||||
15 | kayaking, and weekend basketball with his friends; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Trystin Higginbotham was diligent with his | ||||||
17 | studies, especially his Bible reading; no matter what he set | ||||||
18 | out to do, he did it to the best of his ability; he was a | ||||||
19 | hardworking young man and loved everyone, and all who met him | ||||||
20 | fell for his warm smile and winning personality; and
| ||||||
21 | WHEREAS, Trystin Higginbotham was preceded in death by his |

1 | father, Andrew Higginbotham, and his grandparents, Jackie and | ||||||
2 | Edna Faye Higginbotham; and
| ||||||
3 | WHEREAS, Trystin Higginbotham is survived by his mother, | ||||||
4 | Chasti D. Burnett; his sisters, Calista and Candra | ||||||
5 | Higginbotham; his brother, Devin Higginbotham, and Devin's | ||||||
6 | son, Greyson; his grandparents, Malcolm and Carolyn Dianne | ||||||
7 | Burnett; his uncle, Aaron (Yu-Ling); numerous aunts, uncles, | ||||||
8 | and cousins; and his beloved dog, Lobo; therefore, be it
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
11 | Trystin Kavan Higginbotham and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
12 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
13 | it further

14 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
15 | presented to the family of Trystin Higginbotham as an | ||||||
16 | expression of our deepest sympathy.
