2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Norma S. Knox of Monroe, Wisconsin, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on September 28, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Norma Knox was born in Ringwood on August 20, 1932 | ||||||
6 | to Leo and Mary (nee Schmitt) Hiller; she graduated from high | ||||||
7 | school in McHenry and married Robert W. Knox, Sr. on January | ||||||
8 | 27, 1951 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in | ||||||
9 | Johnsburg; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Norma Knox and her husband farmed in the McHenry, | ||||||
11 | Crystal Lake, and Monroe, Wisconsin areas all of their lives; | ||||||
12 | she also worked for Colony Brands, Inc. in Monroe for 17 years | ||||||
13 | before retiring; and

14 | WHEREAS, Norma Knox was a member of St. Victor Catholic | ||||||
15 | Church in Monroe, Wisconsin; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Norma Knox was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
17 | Robert; sons, Joseph and James; her parents; and her brother, | ||||||
18 | Paul Hiller; and

19 | WHEREAS, Norma Knox is survived by her children, Michael | ||||||

15 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
16 | Norma S. Knox, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
17 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||

19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
