Summary

Animal offender registry. Defines "animal related offense". Requires the Indiana criminal justice institute (institute) to establish an electronic animal offender registry containing information relating to persons convicted of an animal-related offense. Requires an animal offender to register annually for a period of up to 10 years for a conviction related to an animal-related offense. Requires an animal offender to follow certain procedures for an address change that complies with the registry. Allows for a local law enforcement authority to verify the current principal residence or location of a person listed on the animal offender registry. Creates an animal offender administration
