Summary

Student assessment pilot program. Establishes the rural school ILEARN administration pilot program (program). Provides that the state board of education (state board), in consultation with the department of education (department), may approve not more than 20 rural elementary schools to participate in the program. Requires the department to review the correlation between a student's lack of access to the Internet or computer technology and the online administration of the statewide assessment and, on or before November 1, 2023, submit its findings to the legislative council and publish the findings on its Internet web site. Provides that the program expires July 1, 2031.
