Summary

Town marshals. Provides that, after December 31, 2015, a town law enforcement officer who: (1) is not a member of the 1977 police officers' and firefighters' pension and disability fund and does not participate in another pension or retirement plan offered by the town; (2) has successfully completed the minimum basic training requirements for town law enforcement officers; and (3) normally performs service for the town for at least 1,750 hours during a year; becomes a member of the public employees' retirement fund.
