Bill Title: Licensed professionals and child service agencies. Provides for the behavioral health and human services licensing board to issue a temporary permit to practice bachelor's degree social work to an individual who meets the educational requirements for a license as a bachelor's degree social worker. Exempts from licensure individuals who have completed a bachelor's degree in social work and are employed in a position for which the department of child services (department) has specified that other individuals with a bachelor's degree in certain other fields of study do not need to be licensed. Requires the department to prepare and submit to the general assembly a report: (1) concerning the department's progress in collaborating with providers that are subject to audits; and (2) that includes a plan for streamlining the auditing process for accredited and non-accredited providers. Requires the department to implement the streamlined auditing plan not later than July 1, 2020.
