        A HOUSE RESOLUTION congratulating Jessica D'Esposito, Colton Newton, and Anna Woolery.
    

    Whereas, Pike Central High School students Jessica D'Esposito, Colton Newton, and Anna Woolery were invited to the White House to present their science project to President Obama;

    Whereas, Inspired by their visit to Haiti and Japan in the aftermath of earthquakes, Jessica D'Esposito, Colton Newton, and Anna Woolery were inspired to build a lightweight, $600 disaster shelter as their science project;

    Whereas, The shelter was made from the material used to make billboards, and the students hope to get a company to

manufacture them; and

    Whereas, Outstanding accomplishments such as this deserve special recognition: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives congratulates Jessica D'Esposito, Colton Newton, and Anna Woolery on presenting their science project at the White House and encourages these outstanding students to continue to strive for excellence.
    SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit copies of this resolution to Jessica D'Esposito, Colton Newton, and Anna Woolery.
