Summary

Propose to amend Section 42 of the Constitution of Kentucky to require the General Assembly to remain in the even-year regular session beyond 60 days if necessary to enact a budget bill or bills and consider budget memoranda; provide that members of the General Assembly shall receive no compensation for their services after the 60th legislative day; provide for two - day veto override period after enactment of a budget in any extended session; prohibit consideration of any other bill or resolution having the force and effect of law during the extended session.
