Summary

Amend KRS 40.353 to broaden the eligibility criteria for the Kentucky Medal for Freedom to include service members who were born in Kentucky or have a spouse or parent who is a Kentucky resident at the time of the member's death; designate the Act as "Staff Sergeant James Hunter Act."
