Summary
Authorizing governing bodies that have zoning authority under Article 66B of the Code to recommend that a developer negotiate and enter into a community benefit agreement as part of a review of a site plan or development permit required by law; requiring, with a specified exception, that the governing body be a party to a community benefit agreement; authorizing the governing body to seek to enforce the terms of a community benefit agreement; and providing that the Act applies to charter counties and Baltimore City.
