Summary

Requiring physicians licensed to practice medicine in the State to notify specified patients in writing and on specified visits of information about medical professional liability insurance coverage; requiring that the notification be provided to and signed by a patient at the time of the patient's first visit or at the first visit after the physician's receipt of information and be retained as part of the patient's medical records; requiring specified physicians to post information in their place of business; etc.
