HOUSE BILL NO. 5559

A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 43536b.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 43536b. (1) A law enforcement officer may obtain any license under this part for which a lottery is not required at no cost upon presentation to a licensing agent of the individual's employee identification or other evidence acceptable to the department. The license is valid during the season in which that license would otherwise be valid.

(2) As used in this section, "law enforcement officer" means that term as defined in section 2 of the Michigan commission on law enforcement standards act, 1965 PA 203, MCL 28.602.

Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless all of the following bills of the 102nd Legislature are enacted into law:

(a) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 5558 (request no. 04975'23 *).

(b) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 5560 (request no. 05507'24 *).
